Ordering and Pricing
It is advisable to order your wedding cake at least 4 months before the wedding and if yours is a summer wedding then at least 6 months.
Its is best to order birthdays and christening cakes 4 - 6 weeks in advance.
There are times when cakes can be made at short notice, so please do not hesitate to ask.
The prices below are as a guide only as every cake is unique, requiring different levels of work:-
Wedding Cakes
1 tier £95.00 - £120
2 tier £150 - £200
3 tier £250 - £350
4 tier £375 - £500
To cut down on cost, you might like to think about a smaller cake with a "cutting cake".
A cutting cake is a plainly iced fruit or sponge cake which is kept in the kitchen and is cut up at the same time as the wedding cake. Nobody will ever know as the cake would be covered in the same icing as the wedding cake itself.
8" Fruit Cutting cake £45.00 - providing 60 pieces
8" Sponge Cutting Cake £30.00 - providing 30 pieces
Delivery and set up of your wedding cake is free within a 10 mile radius.
Birthdays, christening and novelty cakes start at £40.00 again depending on the complexity of the design
Cup cakes and novelty cookies start at £1.50 each
Favours start at £1.50 each
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on all cake orders with the balance payable 2 weeks before the wedding date or upon collection of other cakes.
Portion guide
This is based on a slice 1" x 1", or 1/2" x 1 1/2" of rich fruitcake, and 1" x 2" of sponge cake.
